01. Pressure adjustment
The pressure of the wire feeding roller should be adjusted according to the diameter of the wire used. If the pressure is not enough, the wire will slip; If the pressure is too high, the wire will scratch and deform. If flux cored wire is used, the pressure of wire feed wheel is less than that of solid cored wire.
02. Adjustment of wire straightening device
The adjustment method of the welding wire straightening device varies with different models, and should be adjusted to the appropriate position of the corresponding welding wire diameter according to the manufacturer's label.
03. Drum installation
If the installation is not in place, there is a risk of spool falling in the process of rotation, which will cause serious consequences. Check that brake pads or brake pad bolts are reliably installed.
04. Diameter of wire feed wheel and welding wire used
Install a wire feeding wheel suitable for wire diameter and check that the number engraved on the roller is consistent with the wire diameter used.
05. Wear and pollution of wire feeding roller groove
Check whether the groove of the wire feeding roller is worn, whether the groove surface is scratched, whether there is dust, iron powder, wire plating chip and so on in the groove. Wipe clean with cotton cloth, etc.
06. Check the wire guide
The wire guide nozzle installed before and after the wire feeding roller is worn or uneven with the wire feeding roller, resulting in bending of the wire and unstable wire feeding. Therefore, regular inspection and maintenance are required.
